The shortest day

so today is a really great day. it is the shortest day of the year. which means that every single day from now until close to the end of june it will get progressively brighter and brighter. every. single. day.

but, the darkness isn't all that bad...especially when everything looks like it is coated in pure sugar.

enjoy the shortest day!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog...I love your pictures! It does look like nice fluffy frosting. One day this week I got out really early in the morning and everything was sparkling with frost. It was one of those private moments you are glad to be alive.

Isn't it nice to not have to try to be anonymous anymore?

It is nice, Kate, I am rather enjoying it. I keep having to catch myself from 'catching myself'.

Jo - thanks for sharing that...I totally love those moments.

The blue one on the corner is ours...the snow really does a great job at hiding the flaws :) but we love it
