Sid the Kid visits the fam...

Congratulations to my super-lucky in-laws who had their season tickets to the Pittsburgh Penguins personally delivered to them by Sidney Crosby today. You can read the story HERE.

And the video is here:

I seriously just gasped out loud when I read that. I am in awe that I read the blog of someone who is married to someone whose parents had season tickets hand delivered by Sidney Crosby.

Of course, upon hearing my audible gasp, my husband asked what was up, and was totally unimpressed... but what does he know... he's a stupid Flyers fan.

(P.S. This is julieulie from Weddingbee -- I FINALLY watched The Wedding Singer!)

Now this will impress my father! Not that you made me the coolest invitations ever, but that your in-laws had their Penquin tickets hand deliverd by Crosby! Too awesome!

HA!! You two made me giggle! It seriously is like the coolest thing ever to happen to someone I know!

julieulie...welcome and THANK GOD you finally watched Wedding Singer. Hope it wasn't to bad of an experience for you...my guess is we hyped it up so much it may have fallen short. But I love me some authentic 80's spoofin anytime!

Ha! I have to confess I'm not a big Adam Sandler fan, so it didn't have a lot going for me in the first place... but I tolerated it fairly well. All the pre-hype didn't help, either. It was kind of like that with "Wedding Crashers" -- I saw it really late in the game -- after it was out on DVD late -- and everyone had been going on and on about how it was so great, funniest movie in years, etc etc, so I was expecting it to be phenomenal, and it was just kind of a letdown after that.

Also, my father emailed me this morning and said "Wow! Did you know that players actually delivered season tickets for the Penguins? How amazing would that be?" Yet another reason my parents are living in the wrong Pennsylvania city...
